It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of THL Wolfgang Starcke on January 26th, 2018. Wolfgang was an avid brewer and a great advocate for this Guild as well as inter-kingdom brewing and vintning activities. He served off and on as a Region 4 representative as well as the head of the Guild from 2014 to 2017. For many years, he was the organizer for the hospitality bar at the Æ party at Pennsic, and the coordinator for the inter-kingdom brewers meet-and-greet. As the autocrat for Ice Dragon, he took great pains to ensure that the event site enabled brewers to participate in the A&S competition. He was a great friend and he will be missed.
