Tasting Table Hosts

Host a tasting table at an event! The tasting table is meant to be a casual way to share your creations, talk about what went right (or wrong), and learn a little for the next brewing cycle. What's encouraged for this role:

Set a time and room or table with the autocrat so that anyone interested can share and sample beverages.

Spread the word about the tasting table

Host on the day of the event. With alcohol, there's always the responsibility of responsible drinking so gently steer those not yet allowed to drink outside the home (based on state or local laws) toward observation only, or other activities.

If possible, send a brief recap to the guild to add to the next mind-month update.

Roundtable Hosts

Roundtables bring the tasting table to the next level. Beverages are evaluated by judges with a formal rubric, and feedback is shared, encouraged, and expected. What's encouraged for this role:

Set a time and room or table with the autocrat for judging and tasting.

Spread the word about the roundtable, including the rubric.

Recruit two or three people to help judge the beverages. The roundtable can be a collective judging event, but it's nice to have a known panel to help.

Organize the judging/roundtable on the day of the event.

If possible, send a brief recap to the guild to add to the next mind-month update.
